It is 2021, 27 years after the Endless Chronicles project began.

We have covered much ground.

It has come time for another to bear witness to the story.

A reflection of my choices through the mind of another...

FOREWORD TO WITNESS from...

MELODYWHORE.

"Like many Indie bands and projects, I am unsure of when or where I first encountered Tengushee. This could be due to the live DJ broadcasts I’ve been doing for more than a year now but it’s more likely because the indie music scene has exploded or at least in our corner of the world, it did. Who is Tengushee and what is he all about… his music is meticulously categorized on his website where it can be downloaded for free. If you search for him on streaming services, you can find equally categorized playlists. You won’t find an about me page on his website - his creative works stand to speak it for him. He is the self-proclaimed cyberpunk survivor and digital redneck. He is Tengushee.

The music is radical. It plays hide and seek with its listeners. It pulls you in; it pulls you apart. It is the dark and the light. Paper Tiger’s intro toys with you then blows your face off. Where did these noises come from? What is going on? You don’t really care because you’re already vested.

This collection took me longer than I care to admit. Initially, it was supposed to be a top 10 and there were just too many tracks that pulled at me. So I insisted I needed to do at least a top 20 and even then, this collection is just an introduction to what you can find in the endless chronicles. So use it as such and let the music guide you.

Lastly, I’d like to leave you with my list that did end up hitting the cutting room floor, but they made my potentials list and deserve to be mentioned. I hope you enjoy the music of Tengushee as much as I do.

Cat Temper has been making cat themed synth music for a bit but on the new "More Than A Feline" he invited a bunch of vocalists to play in the kitty world and, as a result, has made one of my favorite synth albums ever. Lots of fun. Enough pop hooks to tap your paws to but experimental enough that it's not like anything you've heard. Filled with vocalists bringing their best. I often say that the best "synthwave" artists don't just fit into the genre but redefine it. CT has done that here. FoxPuppy
